DMV Legends Launch Party Pop Up Shop ReCap

Later that night on Saturday we had another Pop Up Shop at the DMV Legends Launch Party. It was a lot of fun as always and we got to meet some cool people. Here are some of the pictures but you can view them all on our Facebook.

As always the team was together for the event. Missing a few but most were in attendance.

 

 

 

 

MerCure Diore performed that night while wearing the NSL Tee.

It was a fun night and we hope to do more events in the future. If you haven't came to one yet make sure you do. We'll show you a good time.

MerCure Dior Video Shoot

So this past Saturday I was invited to work on a music video project by Wayne from the DMV Legends. The song was for a young rapper named Mercure Dior.  The song is called "Gush" and it features A$AP Ant on the track with him. I loved the song when I heard and couldn't wait to start shooting, so i happily said yes. I knew he was young but I didn't know he was 16. I would've never guessed by his music. I filmed for the first day of shooting and took some pictures while I did. It gives a preview of how this video will look. I'll be sure to post it when it releases. 

The production team Chris (Left) and Wayne (Right) I worked with for this project. I loved working with these guys and were already starting on our next project together.

 

 

 

 

 

I'm really excited about this video because it was really fun to shoot and I know it's going to come out well. Mercure is a great artist and I can't wait to work him him some more.

Pop Up Shop/Fashion Show ReCap

So as many of you know we had our first Pop Up Shop and also participated in the fashion show that took place as well. The event went better than expected and most of my team was out socializing, selling shirts and ultimately having a good time. This is our new friend Amber who sell Vintage clothes. Her stuff is awesome and you can see your shop online HERE.

Of course the DMV Legends came out to support. You can come to our next Pop Up Shop at their event in DC next Saturday June 23rd.

We even had the bartender rocking UxU. She was even our wardrobe coordinator for the fashion show and she did a fantastic job. 

Speaking of Fashion Show, I got a few pictures of the models that had our gear on for the show.

Skiiny being a good salesman. 

Everybody had on matching team shirts that was definitely a talking point at the event and around the areas we went.

NSL Tank X London Zhiloh

As we promised before were releasing a Tank Top version of the National Smoking League (NSL) Tee. The Tank will come in both color ways and will be available first at our Pop Up Shop at Sutra Lounge in DC Friday, June 15th. They will be on sale online the day after. We did a shoot with London Zhiloh and Marcus Brooks to promote the release. Here are some of the shots.

Rocket

     For those of you who don't know I do a couple different video series. One of those is called "Show Yourself". This is where I interview different people I find interesting mostly artist but I don't want to narrow it down to just that because I plan on going broader to all types of people. 


     The past Sunday on a spur of the moment I shot the fifth episode (The rest can be seen on my Vimeo page) with Slice's friend Rocket in Georgetown. It was really nice meeting her and I loved the message she had to say.

This Summer we'll be doing our best to have some fun events for you guys to come out and chill with us and cope some gear. So far we have two Pop Up Shops lined up!

Good Food Good People

So this past Saturday one of our team members Alice had a cook out at her house. Most of our main crew was there as well as many other people I was happy to met with and will definitely be working with in the near future.

First of which is the DMV Legends which we'll be working with a lot. Were having our second Pop Up Shop at their event on June 23rd. I'll make a post on that soon.

Unique And Uncontemporary Presents: Brandon Charles

I've known Brandon since sophomore year in high school. Since i've known him he has wanted to be a rapper. I caught up with him when I got back home a couple weeks ago and words can't describe how his skills have grown except his own. I did a photo shoot with him and his producer in Baltimore last week and posted the pictures on my photography site. I'll post a few here too. I did a quick free style video with him and told him to rap on the spot and he had no trouble dropping a few bars. We also met a street magician named John who was more than happy to show us a few tricks. The video can be viewed below.
